Liaising with the client, other construction professionals and sometimes members of the public • Coordinating and supervising construction workers as well as keeping an employee’s attendance register • Project management and contract management • To ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are in order and well taken care of • Reading all the drawings to the builders and quality assurance • Oversee operations on a day-to-day basis • Ensure that work is done safely, on time within budget and to the right quality standards • Making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety • Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings • Maintaining quality control procedures • Cost control for the whole site
